I consider myself an authority on fear.

Not the type of fear caused by physical threat (although I did run into a bear once), but the other kind—the kind that originates in the imagination.

My expertise on the topic began during childhood and continued into my adult years.

As my brain became more skilled at creating worst-case scenarios, I became willing to buy into these scenarios and less able to enjoy the good moments.

There came a point when I realized that fear was sucking the life out of me.

I had two options.

  • I could keep trying to push the anxiety/fear away and pretend it didn’t exist (which was very painful and past experiences told me fear wouldn’t back down for long).

  • I could face fear head-on, which seemed even more painful, yet, IF I mustered up a bit of trust and courage, there was a chance that fear wouldn’t hurt as much over time.

So I chose option B.

And I continue to choose option B whenever I find myself playing it safe.

The decision isn’t as painful as it once was—but there is almost always an element of fear involved in pushing through my comfort zone. Which is pretty much DAILY.

Three ways I’m choosing Option B this week and WHY.

  1. I joined a Business Mastermind and hired another Mindset Coach. I fully believe in the power of coaching and as scary as it is to invest a large sum of money in myself, I KNOW it works and I know it will shift the way I’m showing up in all areas of my life.

  2. I’m sending out more emails than usual. As much as I don’t want to bother you with too many emails, I sincerely believe that my work (and course) can help you achieve what you want in your life.

  3. I’m raising my prices for the She's Doing It! course in 24 hours. I’ve been playing small with the pricing of this course. What I offer is a very high value and so I’ve decided to reprice it at $599 going forward.
